NEW HAVEN, Conn. (January 29, 2026) – Thirty-six student-athletes have qualified for the 2025 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Women’s Volleyball All-Academic Team, CACC Commissioner Dan Mara announced today. The players recognized represent all 11 conference schools.
To be eligible for CACC All-Academic status, a student-athlete must possess a minimum cumulative grade-point average of 3.50, be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, and be in his/her second year at his/her current institution. New for 2025-26, honorees must also either compete in at least two-thirds of his/her team’s matches or start at least half.
Thomas Jefferson University led the conference with six honorees, while Caldwell University placed five student-athletes on the list. The complete set of winners can be viewed at the link above.
Two qualifying women’s volleyball student athletes – Lucia Tomiello of the University of Bridgeport and Wilmington University’s Morgan Daniels – own perfect 4.00 GPAs. They are part of a group of 10 players on the list with GPAs of 3.90 or higher.
The CACC All-Academic Team was instituted during the 2004-05 academic year.
Founded in 1961, the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference has been affiliated with NCAA Division II for 20 years. Conference institutions compete for championships in 17 sports – seven for men, nine for women, and one co-ed. The CACC contains 11 full members in Connecticut, Delaware, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. Membership includes the University of Bridgeport, Caldwell University, Chestnut Hill College, Dominican University New York, Felician University, Georgian Court University, Goldey-Beacom College, Holy Family University, Post University, Thomas Jefferson University, and Wilmington University.
