Post's Peric is December 2025 CACC Student-Athlete of the Month

Women's Volleyball Grad Student Excels on Court and in Classroom, Community

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (January 13, 2026) – Post University women’s volleyball player Kristina Peric has been selected the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Student-Athlete of the Month for December 2025, CACC Commissioner Dan Mara announced today. Peric earned the award for demonstrating success on the court during the month, while also being a standout in the classroom and giving back to her community.

Peric, a graduate outside hitter from Belgrade, Serbia, was selected a Division II Conference Commissioners Association First Team All-American and the D2 CCA East Region Player of the Year during December. She helped lead Post to an at-large selection to the NCAA Division II Championship tournament and a first-round NCAA Tournament victory.

Peric was the national Division II leader this season in both kills per set (5.22) and points per set (5.75). She also finished 10th in the CACC with 2.77 digs per set. She was a seven-time CACC Player of the Week and was selected as the conference Player of the Year. Peric was a Second-Team All-CACC honoree in 2024.

Academically, Peric maintains a 3.83 cumulative grade-point average through three semesters of graduate work at Post in business intelligence and analytics. She was a member of the 2025 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District® Team.

Peric assists at the Husky Pups Volleyball program in Newington, Conn., helping to introduce the sport to new and younger players in grades K-6. She also serves as a game operations assistant at Post home athletics events.

The CACC Student-Athlete of the Month Award is handed out from September to May and recognizes one student-athlete from any sport active during that month.

Founded in 1961, the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference has been affiliated with NCAA Division II for 20 years. Conference institutions compete for championships in 17 sports – seven for men, nine for women, and one co-ed. The CACC contains 11 full members in Connecticut, Delaware, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. Membership includes the University of Bridgeport, Caldwell University, Chestnut Hill College, Dominican University New York, Felician University, Georgian Court University, Goldey-Beacom College, Holy Family University, Post University, Thomas Jefferson University, and Wilmington University.
