15 From CACC, Four Teams Named USTFCCCA All-Academic

Five Conference Schools Represented

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (February 5, 2025) – Fifteen student-athletes from the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference – eight men and seven women – have been named 2024 NCAA Division II Cross-Country All-Academic Athletics by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross-Country Coaches Association, the USTFCCCA recently announced. Furthermore, two CACC men’s and two women’s teams attained the status of USTFCCCA D-II Cross-Country All-Academic Teams for 2024.

In order to qualify for USTFCCCA All-Academic distinction, student-athletes must have a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.25 on a 4.0 scale and finish in the top 30 percent of their respective regional championship meet, among other qualifiers. All-Academic Teams must have a cumulative team GPA of 3.0 and compile a team score at their regional championship meet.

Thomas Jefferson University topped CACC institutions with six individual honorees. Wilmington University claimed four winners, and Caldwell University had three. Chestnut Hill College and Goldey-Beacom College earned one honoree apiece. The list of CACC student-athletes recognized is below.

Both the Jefferson men’s and women’s squads garners All-Academic Team status. The Caldwell men were named an All-Academic Team, as were the Wilmington women.

The USTFCCCA is a non-profit professional organization representing cross-country and track & field coaches of all levels.

 The Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference is celebrating the 20th anniversary of its affiliation with NCAA Division II. Conference institutions compete for championships in 18 sports – eight for men, nine for women, and one co-ed. The CACC contains 12 members in Connecticut, Delaware, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. Membership includes Bloomfield College of Montclair State University, the University of Bridgeport, Caldwell University, Chestnut Hill College, Dominican University New York, Felician University, Georgian Court University, Goldey-Beacom College, Holy Family University, Post University, Thomas Jefferson University, and Wilmington University.
