Caldwell's Marks Named NTCA Honorable Mention All-America

Senior is First CACC Bowler So Honored

LAS VEGAS (April 11, 2025) -- Caldwell University senior Lauren Marks has been named Honorable Mention All-America by the National Tenpin Coaches Association (NTCA), the organization announced on Thursday night at the NCAA Bowling National Championship banquet.

Marks, is a two-time Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Bowler of the Year. This season, she led the CACC  individual scoring average (20.375 pins/frame overall, 20.189 in Baker, 20.632 in Traditional), almost a full pin more than the next competitor. She also topped the conference in frame fill percentage (86.5%), strike percentage (50.6%), and spare percentage (92.2%).

In 2023-24, Marks earned the NTCA Strike Percentage Leader Award for Division II, racking up a 48.30% rate, and was a member of the organization's All-Academic Team. She was also the CACC Student-Athlete of the Month for March 2024.

She is the first Cougar bowler to earn All-America honors, and the first in the three years the CACC has sponsored the sport.
