NCAA Announces First Set of 2025 D-II Regional Rankings

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (April 18, 2025) – Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference member Thomas Jefferson University is under consideration for the 2025 NCAA Division II Men’s Tennis Championship tournament, the NCAA D-II Men’s Tennis Committee announced on Wednesday.

The committee released its first set of regional rankings for all eight NCAA Division II regions on Wednesday. Teams under consideration in each region were announced in alphabetical order. Six teams were listed as under consideration in the East Region, including the Rams, for the four available berths. The committee will release rankings in rank order on April 23 and 30.

Jefferson (8-7) earned the CACC championship earlier this week. It was the fourth consecutive division or league title for the Rams.

The NCAA will announce the qualifiers for the 2025 Division II Men’s Tennis Championship on Monday, May 5, at 8 p.m. on ncaa.com. The field will contain a maximum of 48 teams.

The Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference is celebrating the 20th anniversary of its affiliation with NCAA Division II. Conference institutions compete for championships in 18 sports – eight for men, nine for women, and one co-ed. The CACC contains 12 members in Connecticut, Delaware, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. Membership includes Bloomfield College of Montclair State University, the University of Bridgeport, Caldwell University, Chestnut Hill College, Dominican University New York, Felician University, Georgian Court University, Goldey-Beacom College, Holy Family University, Post University, Thomas Jefferson University, and Wilmington University.
