PHILADELPHIA (May 7, 2025) – The Thomas Jefferson University men's tennis team has been selected for the 2025 NCAA Division II Championship and assigned the No. 3 in the East Region. The NCAA Selection Committee announced the field of 48 teams on Monday night. The Rams' first-round matchup will be at Legacy Tennis Courts on Saturday at 2 p.m. against No. 2 seed St. Thomas Aquinas College.
The Rams (10-7) are making their fourth straight NCAA appearance and eighth overall. Jefferson won its fourth consecutive CACC title after winning the best-of-three regular-season series against Chestnut Hill College this season.
The Spartans (16-6) were the runners-up in the East Coast Conference Championship to Queens (N.Y.) College. St. Thomas Aquinas and Jefferson have met once this season, with the Spartans defeating the Rams, 6-1, on April 9 at Legacy Tennis Courts.
