Dominican Women's Lacrosse Sits Fourth in East Region

NCAA's Latest Set of Division II Regional Rankings Released

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (April 24, 2025) – Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference member Dominican University New York is among the eight teams listed in the latest 2025 NCAA Division II East Region Women’s Lacrosse Ranking, the NCAA D-II Women’s Lacrosse Committee released on Wednesday. Dominican is ranked No. 4 in the region.

Dominican (15-1, 9-0 CACC) is riding a 14-game winning streak. The Chargers, who are ranked No. 24 in the most recent national Division II coaches’ poll, are the No. 1 seed for the upcoming CACC Championship tournament.

The NCAA will announce the 24-team field for the 2025 Division II Women’s Lacrosse Championship on Sunday, May 4, at 8:30 p.m. on ncaa.com. For the first time, the winner of the CACC Championship tournament will automatically qualify for the NCAA Tournament.

The Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference is celebrating the 20th anniversary of its affiliation with NCAA Division II. Conference institutions compete for championships in 18 sports – eight for men, nine for women, and one co-ed. The CACC contains 12 members in Connecticut, Delaware, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. Membership includes Bloomfield College of Montclair State University, the University of Bridgeport, Caldwell University, Chestnut Hill College, Dominican University New York, Felician University, Georgian Court University, Goldey-Beacom College, Holy Family University, Post University, Thomas Jefferson University, and Wilmington University.
