Six CACC Women's Lacrosse Players Named All-Region by IWLCA

Dominican's Rigo, Wilmington's Royer Are First-Team Selections

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (May 14, 2026) – Six Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference athletes were selected for the 2026 Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association All-East Region Teams, the IWLCA announced on Wednesday. Four of the players recognized came from CACC regular-season champion Dominican University New York.

Dominican senior defender Jenna Rigo and Wilmington University senior midfielder Ella Royer were chosen for the All-Region First Team. Thomas Jefferson University senior midfielder Iris Gluck joined a trio of Chargers – senior attack Madelyn Grella, sophomore attack Madison Mileti, and freshman goalie Dani Parisi – on the Second Team.

Rigo repeated as CACC Defensive Player of the Year. She ranks fourth nationally in Division II with 3.39 caused turnovers per game and 19th with 3.17 ground balls per game. Royer, who won her third consecutive CACC Player of the Year Award, helped Wilmington to its first conference championship while ranking fourth nationally in goals per game (4.59) and seventh in points per game (5.86).

Gluck and the Rams made a return trip to the CACC semifinals. Grella, Mileti and Parisi joined Rigo in assisting Dominican to its second consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance.

All players recognized are eligible to be chosen for an IWLCA All-America Team. The IWLCA will announce its Division II All-America teams on May 20.

 

The Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference is celebrating the 20th anniversary of its affiliation with NCAA Division II. Conference institutions compete for championships in 18 sports – eight for men, nine for women, and one co-ed. The CACC contains 12 members in Connecticut, Delaware, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. Membership includes Bloomfield College of Montclair State University, the University of Bridgeport, Caldwell University, Chestnut Hill College, Dominican University New York, Felician University, Georgian Court University, Goldey-Beacom College, Holy Family University, Post University, Thomas Jefferson University, and Wilmington University.
