NEW HAVEN, Conn. (May 8, 2025) – Five members of the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference are among the nine teams listed in the latest NCAA Division II East Region Baseball Ranking, the 2025 NCAA D-II Baseball Committee released on Wednesday.
Thomas Jefferson University and Goldey-Beacom College occupy the No. 1 and No. 2 spots, respectively, in the ranking. Wilmington University is the East’s No. 4 team, while Felician University is sixth and Dominican University New York seventh. The rankings for all eight NCAA Division II regions can be viewed at https://www.ncaa.com/rankings/baseball/d2/regional-rankings.
Dominican (37-15), Felician (36-16), Jefferson (37-13), and Wilmington (33-20) are the four teams remaining in the CACC Championship Tournament, and are competing in a double-elimination format for the title today through Saturday in New Castle, Del. Goldey-Beacom (34-19) was eliminated by Wilmington in the event’s first round and does not play again prior to NCAA Tournament selections.
The NCAA will announce the 56-team field for the 2025 Division II Baseball Championship on Sunday, May 11, at 10 p.m. on ncaa.com. The East Region will receive automatic qualifiers from the CACC, East Coast Conference and Northeast 10 Conference and four at-large berths.

The Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference is celebrating the 20th anniversary of its affiliation with NCAA Division II. Conference institutions compete for championships in 18 sports – eight for men, nine for women, and one co-ed. The CACC contains 12 members in Connecticut, Delaware, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. Membership includes Bloomfield College of Montclair State University, the University of Bridgeport, Caldwell University, Chestnut Hill College, Dominican University New York, Felician University, Georgian Court University, Goldey-Beacom College, Holy Family University, Post University, Thomas Jefferson University, and Wilmington University.
