CACC BASEBALL – March 30, 2026

Co-PLAYER OF THE WEEK

FRAELYN ROSARIO, Dominican (JR, IF, Villa Duarte, Dominican Republic) – Went 16 for 23 (.696) with seven doubles during a 3-3 week for the Chargers. Slugged 1.000 with a .720 on-base percentage. Scored nine runs and drove in eight. Was 4 for 4 with three doubles during an 18-10 loss to Adelphi on Mar. 24. Went 6 for 9 with four doubles during Saturday’s split with Georgian Court.

Co-PLAYER OF THE WEEK

WYATT SPINKS, Chestnut Hill (JR, OF, Levittown, Pa.) – Went 10 for 19 (.526) with seven extra-base hits, seven runs scored, and 12 RBI during a 4-1 week for the Griffins. Slugged 1.053 for the week and added five stolen bases. Lined a tiebreaking three-run double and drove in five total runs during a 10-7 Game 2 win over Jefferson on Mar. 25. Had seven RBI during a three-game weekend sweep of Lincoln.

PITCHER OF THE WEEK

CONNOR BLENCE, Goldey-Beacom (SR, R, Downingtown, Pa.) – Pitched a seven-inning complete-game five-hit shoutout in the Lightning’s 8-0 Game 2 road victory over Bridgeport on Saturday. Struck out 10 batters and walked two. Retired the final seven batters. Threw 89 pitches.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

IZAIAH ROBINSON, Caldwell (FR, RF, Franklin Township, N.J.) – Went 8 for 16 with a triple, six runs scored and five RBI during a 4-1 week for the Cougars. Slugged .625 with a .579 on-base percentage and four stolen bases. Delivered walk-off hit to complete a come-from-behind 6-5 victory over Holy Family on Sunday.

 

HONOR ROLL

JONATHAN GAMBONE, Caldwell – Pitched to a 1.13 ERA and a .087 opponent BA in eight innings over two appearances which included a save.
JACK GREENSPAN, Georgian Court – Went 12 for 24 with five XBH, seven runs, and six RBI during a 2-4 week for the Lions.
BRANDON GRYGO, Wilmington – Was 11 for 22 with four doubles as the Wildcats went 4-2.
ANDREW HOLUB, Jefferson – Hit .444 with three doubles, two homers and 11 RBI during a 4-1 week for the Rams.
CHRIS HOPF, Caldwell – Batted .444 with a home run and 10 RBI during a 4-1 week for the Cougars.
CHRIS LAIETA, Felician – Allowed one run on one hit with eight strikeouts and one walk in 5 2/3 innings in winning a start against Bridgeport.
DEVIN MALVASIO, Felician – Pitched six scoreless, two-hit innings with five strikeouts and no walks during a victory over Wilmington.
JORDEN SESAR, Holy Family – Struck out 11 batters and walked none, allowing one run on five hits over seven innings, in a no-decision against Caldwell.
