NEWARK, Del. (June 20, 2025) -- Following another successful campaign in 2024-25, the Wilmington University women's tennis team finishes the season ranked No. 27 in the final Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Division II National Poll.

The Wildcats were a point away from reaching the NCAA Tournament Sweet 16, falling to Queens, 4-3, in the East Region 2 Final.

They finished the season 17-5 overall, going undefeated in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference play, finishing the regular season 10-0 before capturing their fourth straight CACC Tournament Championship.

The Wildcats earned the No. 3 seed in the East Region Championship, hosting No. 2 Queens on May 13. They held a pair of match points on the final court, but the Knights fought back to win the court in a third-set tiebreaker, and the match, 4-3, to advance to Nationals.
