NEW HAVEN, Conn. (July 21, 2025) – Goldey-Beacom College has been selected as the host school for the 2025 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Men’s Golf Championship tournament. Goldey-Beacom will welcome the CACC’s seven programs to White Clay Creek Country Club in Wilmington, Del., from Oct. 5-7.
Goldey-Beacom is hosting the CACC Championship for the first time since 2018, when it co-hosted with Wilmington University. However, the event returns to White Clay Creek for the second consecutive year. Wilmington hosted the 2024 tournament on the 7,007-yard, par-72 layout. GBC is the three-time defending champion, while Alexander Lundvall of Dominican University New York was last year’s medalist.
“We’re excited to be hosting the CACC Men’s Golf Championship,” said Goldey-Beacom Director of Athletics Jeremy Benoit. "White Clay Creek Country Club is a beautiful, unique, and challenging course. This 54-hole championship will certainly force the student-athletes and coaches to prove who among them has top-tier talent and grit.”
For the first time, the CACC Championship will be conducted over three days. After three years of a 54-hole, two-day format, 2025 competitors will play one 18-hole round of stroke play on each of Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday, October 5, 6, & 7. The CACC team champion will automatically qualify for the 2026 NCAA Atlantic/East Regional Championship in May.
The CACC Network will provide live coverage of the tournament.
