Jefferson to Host CACC Men's Golf Championship for First Time

2026 Event to be Held at Jeffersonville Golf Club

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (July 13, 2026) – Thomas Jefferson University has been selected as the host school for the 2026 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Men’s Golf Championship tournament. Jefferson will welcome the CACC’s six programs to Jeffersonville Golf Club in Norristown, Pa., from Oct. 6-8.

Jefferson is hosting the CACC Championship for the first time. The tournament also makes its first appearance at Jeffersonville GC, consistently rated as one of the top 10 public golf courses in Pennsylvania. Owned and operated by West Norriton Township, Jeffersonville is a 6,430-yard, par-70 layout.

The CACC Championship is a 54-hole format conducted over three days. Competitors will play one, 18-hole round of stroke play on each of Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, October 6, 7, & 8. Wilmington University is the defending champion, while the Wildcats’ Noah Wallace was the 2025 medalist. This year’s CACC team champion will automatically qualify for the 2027 NCAA Atlantic/East Regional Championship in May.

Founded in 1961, the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference has been affiliated with NCAA Division II for 21 years. Conference institutions compete for championships in 18 sports – seven for men, 10 for women, and one co-ed. The CACC contains 11 full members in Connecticut, Delaware, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania.
