NEW HAVEN, Conn. (July 25, 2025) – Goldey-Beacom College has been selected to host the 2025 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Women’s Volleyball Championship Tournament. The semifinals and final of the eight-team, single-elimination event will take place at the Joseph West Jones Center in Wilmington, Del., on November 22-23.

The tournament starts with the quarterfinals on Tue., Nov. 18, at the campus sites of the top two seeds in the CACC North and South Divisions. The four quarterfinal winners will head to Goldey-Beacom for the remainder of the tournament. GBC is hosting the CACC Championship for the first time since 2001, when the conference was still affiliated with the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics.

“I’m thrilled that we were selected to host the CACC Volleyball Championship,” said Goldey-Beacom Director of Athletics Jeremy Benoit. “Recent updates to the branding and the locker rooms have really taken the Jones Center to another level and we can’t wait to showcase it. We take great pride in providing excellent championship experiences on our campus and I look forward to sharing that experience with the top volleyball programs in the CACC.”

Georgian Court University is the event’s defending champion, topping Post University in the 2024 championship final on its home floor in Lakewood, N.J. The winner of the 2025 tournament once again automatically qualifies for the NCAA Division II East Regional Championship.
