PLAYER OF THE WEEK
KARA MEREDITH, Holy Family (JR, F, Huntingdon Valley, Pa.) – Helped the Tigers move into sole possession of first place with a 2-0 week. Canned six three-pointers and scored 31 points with five rebounds during a 69-50 victory over Jefferson on Jan. 6. Followed with 18 points during Saturday’s 66-53 win at Felician. Was 9 for 18 from distance for the week.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
REYNAH RATLIFF, Wilmington (FR, G, Philadelphia, Pa.) – In the Wildcats’ only action of the week, turned in 13 points, nine rebounds, and six assists despite her team’s 82-55 home loss to Chestnut Hill on Jan. 6.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
LYDIA BETZ, Goldey-Beacom (SO, F, Pittsburgh, Pa.) – Blocked six shots during the Lightning’s 69-62 victory at Georgian Court on Jan. 6. Averaged 8.0 rebounds (6.5 defensive) and 3.5 blocks (plus 20.5 points) as GBC held opponents to 37-percent shooting during a 2-0 week.
HONOR ROLL
TIAYO ADELEKAN, Chestnut Hill – Shot 74 percent and scored 17.5 points in 23.0 minutes per game during a 2-0 week for the Griffins.
LUCY COOGAN, Caldwell – Averaged 17.5 points and 7.5 rebounds during a 1-1 week for the Cougars.
IMANI GILLETTE, Georgian Court – In 21.0 minutes per game of the Lions’ 1-1 week, averaged 18.0 points and 11.0 rebounds.
ALYSSA ROSSIGNOL, Post – Shot 58 percent and averaged 22.0 points, 5.5 rebounds and 3.5 steals as the Eagles split two contests.
EMILY SPRATT, Jefferson – Averaged 16.5 points and 5.5 rebounds during a 1-1 week for the Rams.
ANE VALLE, Felician – Scored her 1,000th career point. Averaged 15.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 5.0 assists as the Golden Falcons went 1-1.
