CACC MEN’S LACROSSE – February 23, 2026

PLAYER OF THE WEEK

RYAN DENIKE, Post (SR, A, Putnam Valley, N.Y.) – Turned in three goals and two assists during the Eagles’ 14-6 season-opening victory at American International on Feb. 18. Scored twice plus a helper during Post’s game-opening 6-0 run over the first 16:01.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

PRESTON PAGE, Chestnut Hill (FR, M, Cumming, Ga.) – Debuted with three goals, including a man-up score, during the Griffins’ 14-6 road loss to No. 5 Seton Hill on Saturday.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

CHARLIE FOSTER, Post (SO, FO/M, Des Moines, Wash.) – Scooped eight ground balls and was 13 for 19 (.684) on faceoffs as the Eagles began 2026 with a 14-6 road win over American International on Feb. 18.

GOALKEEPER OF THE WEEK

MATTHEW HUGHES, Bridgeport (FR, G, Farmingdale, N.Y.) – Totaled 22 saves in 90 minutes of action, playing to a 5.33 goals-against average with a .733 save percentage. Went the distance with 16 stops during a 10-5 win at Franklin Pierce on Saturday.

 

HONOR ROLL

IAN BETTS, Wilmington – Had a late, game-tying goal and two assists during a one-goal loss to No. 17 Mercy.
HARRISON JORDAN, Georgian Court – Combined for four goals, an assist, and two ground balls during an 0-2 week for the Lions.
LIAM McCURRY, Post – Made 12 saves and allowed six goals during a victory over AIC.
JAMES NAPOLI, Bridgeport – Combined for four goals, an assist, and three ground balls during a 1-1 week for the Purple Knights.
LUCA RUNYAN, Bridgeport – Produced six ground balls and four caused turnovers as UB allowed 14 goals during a 1-1 week.
QUINN TRACY, Wilmington – Came up with five ground balls and two caused turnovers during a narrow loss to No. 17 Mercy.
