Wilmington to Host 2026 CACC Softball Championshp

Four First-Round Winners To Vie for Conference Crown in New Castle

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (March 27, 2026) -- Wilmington University will host the 2026 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Softball Championship tournament. The four-team, double-elimination final round of the event will be held from May 7-9 at Asbury FIeld in New Castle, Del.

The tournament will begin with eight teams, as determined by the regular-season standings. The CACC Championship gets underway with four best-of-three series on May 2-3, each hosted by the higher seeds. The winners of those four series will advance to Wilmington for the remainder of the tournament. The 2026 CACC champion automatically qualifies for the NCAA Division II East Regional Championship.

Admission for all days of the championship, including first-round play, is $10 for adults and $5 for children, students, and senior citizens. The CACC Network will also provide live coverage of all games.
