NEW HAVEN, Conn. (March 3, 2026) – All four higher-seeded home teams were victorious during the quarterfinal round of the 2026 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Women’s Basketball Championship tournament on Tuesday night. Holy Family University, Felician University, Caldwell University, and Chestnut Hill College will now move on to Saturday’s semifinals.

Two of the first-round games were played in Philadelphia. No. 1 seed Holy Family defeated No. 8 University of Bridgeport, 67-32, and No. 4 Chestnut Hill got past intracity rival and No. 5 seed Thomas Jefferson University, 71-64. On the other side of the bracket, No. 2 seed Felician downed No. 7 Georgian Court University, 73-48, in Rutherford, N.J., while in nearby Caldwell, N.J., No. 3 seed Caldwell outscored No. 6 seed Post University, 53-41.
The tournament now moves to Caldwell, which will host the semifinals and finals at its George R. Newman Center. On Saturday, Holy Family takes on Chestnut Hill at 5 p.m., followed by Felician facing Caldwell at 7 p.m. Saturday’s winners will meet in the championship final on Sunday at 2:30 p.m. The 2026 CACC champion will earn the league’s automatic berth into the NCAA Division II East Region Championship.
Tickets for all rounds of the 2026 CACC Women’s Basketball Championship are $10 for adults and $5 for children, senior citizens (65+) and students with valid identification. No. 1 HOLY FAMILY 67, No. 8 BRIDGEPORT 32
The No. 19 nationally-ranked Tigers (26-3) outscored Bridgeport, 30-3, during the second period to take control. Amy Ngo was 6 for 6 from three-point range and led HFU with 20 points. Taylor Hinkle had 11 points, 17 rebounds, and five assists. Zakiyyah Frazier led the Purple Knights (10-16) with nine points and 14 rebounds.
No. 4 CHESTNUT HILL 71, No. 5 JEFFERSON 64
Trailing by three points at halftime, the Griffins (16-13) took the lead for good midway through the third period, holding the Rams to 33-percent shooting. Sabria Mann led a balanced CHC offense with 18 points and Sara Tamoun had 15 points, six rebounds and four assists. Emily Spratt topped Jefferson (17-12) with 21 points and Gabby Recinto added 16 points and 15 rebounds.
No. 2 FELICIAN 73, No. 7 GEORGIAN COURT 48
Felician (22-7) used a 23-4 second-quarter scoring edge to open a comfortable lead. The Golden Falcons were led by 20 points, nine rebounds, five assists, and five steals from Ane Valle. Stephanie Formby contributed 19 points and 12 rebounds. Karissa Smedley totaled 15 points and seven rebounds for the Lions (11-18).
No. 3 CALDWELL 53, No. 6 POST 41
The Cougars (21-8) extended a 28-21 halftime lead to a 13-point edge after three quarters, owning a 44-34 rebounding edge. Caldwell received 21 points and 11 rebounds from Lucy Coogan, while Neysa Aguilar contributed 13 points and seven boards. Kamryn Porter scored 15 points for Post (14-13).
