Felician, Goldey-Beacom Advance to Men's Basketball Final

Tournament's Top Two Seeds to Meet for 2025-26 Title on Sunday

CALDWELL, N.J. (March 7, 2026) – No. 1 seed Felician University and No. 2 seed Goldey-Beacom College will meet in the final round of the of 2026 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Men’s Basketball Championship tournament. The title game will be hosted by Caldwell University on Sunday at noon at the George R. Newman Center.

Felician and Goldey-Beacom advanced with semifinal victories on Saturday afternoon in Caldwell. The Golden Falcons, the No. 23-ranked team in the latest national NCAA Division II coaches poll, began the day with an 88-77 win over Caldwell University, the event’s predetermined host and No. 4 seed. The Lightning followed by topping No. 6 seed Dominican University New York, 108-92. Sunday’s winner will not only be named CACC champion but will earn the conference’s automatic berth into the NCAA Division II East Region Championship.

Felician is playing for its third conference championship, having won titles in 2010 and 2022. Goldey-Beacom seeks its first CACC crown. The Golden Falcons and Lightning are meeting in the final for the second time, with Felician having defeated GBC for its 2010 championship. The Golden Falcons won both 2025-26 regular-season meetings.

Tickets to the 2026 CACC Men’s Basketball Championship final are $10 for adults and $5 for children, senior citizens (65+) and students with valid identification. No. 1 FELICIAN 88, No. 4 CALDWELL 77
Ahead, 55-53, with 11:24 remaining, the Golden Falcons (26-3) took control with a 12-2 run over the next four-plus minutes. CACC Player of the Year Jeremiah Anderson had 22 second-half points and finished with 28 points, nine rebounds, seven assists, and four steals. Jared White scored 23 points and Moussa Camara totaled 19 points and 10 rebounds for Felician. DeAngelo Horn tallied 18 points and nine rebounds and Terence Thompson had 14 points and 15 boards for the Cougars (15-15).

No. 2 GOLDEY-BEACOM 108, No. 6 DOMINICAN 92
The Lightning (21-9) set NCAA-era tournament records for points and rebounds (58) while establishing the program standard for victories. GBC’s Brian Blanchet led all players with 23 points, and teammate Emarquis Jones accumulated 22 points, 11 rebounds, and seven assists. Chance Morrish scored 22 points and Javel Cherry added 21 for the Chargers (14-16).

Founded in 1961, the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference has been affiliated with NCAA Division II for 20 years. Conference institutions compete for championships in 17 sports – seven for men, nine for women, and one co-ed.
