CACC SOFTBALL – April 20, 2026

PLAYER OF THE WEEK

MYA JONES, Bridgeport (SR, IF, Milford, Del.) – Batted .615 (8 for 13) and slugged .923 during a 3-1 week for the Purple Knights. Had a double and a home run, scored three runs, and drove in five. Went 6 for 8 during Saturday’s doubleheader sweep of Chestnut Hill, including a walk-off single to end UB’s 4-3 Game 1 victory.

PITCHER OF THE WEEK

KINSLEY HALL, Holy Family (JR, R, Frankford, Del.) – Went 2-0 with a 0.58 ERA, earning a pair of complete-game conference victories. Yielded two runs – one earned – on six hits over 12 innings, struck out eight batters, and walked three. Tossed a three-hitter during a 5-2 Game 2 win at Wilmington on Apr. 15. Followed with a five-inning three-hit shutout in Saturday’s 8-0 Game 2 victory over Post.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

KARINA DE LA VEGA, Felician (FR, IF, San Antonio, Texas) – Went 6 for 9 as the Golden Falcons split a conference doubleheader with Jefferson on Saturday. During Felician’s 8-6 Game 1 victory, was 5 for 5 with two doubles, a home run, two runs scored, and four RBI.

 

HONOR ROLL

LAUREN BERNAICHE, Jefferson – Was 2-0 with a 1.40 ERA in three pitching appearances.
AYRI HANSEN, Goldey-Beacom – Hit .533 with four runs and three RBI during a 3-1 week for the Lightning.
SAMANTHA LEDGER, Bridgeport – Was 2-0 in the pitching circle with a 2.50 ERA and a .140 opponent batting average.
ADRIANNA LISOTTO, Holy Family – Went 5 for 8 with five RBI during a 3-1 week for the Tigers.
KATIE O’CONNOR, Caldwell – Went 3-0 with a 2.58 ERA in three pitching starts. Struck out 16 batters in 19 innings.
AMANDA PRESTON, Caldwell – Hit .385 with two doubles and drove in seven runs, including a walk-off squeeze bunt versus Molloy, during a 4-2 week for the Cougars.
MOLLY SKELLY, Goldey-Beacom – Went 3-0 with a 0.43 ERA and a .215 opponent batting average in three pitching starts. Struck out 13 batters and walked two in 16 1/3 innings.
MADDIE VOLLMAR, Wilmington – Hit .389 with two home runs and nine RBI during a 4-2 week for the Wildcats. Was 1-1 in three pitching appearances.
