NEW HAVEN, Conn. (April 27, 2026) – Wilmington University sophomore Noah Wallace has been named the 2025-26 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Men’s Golf Player of the Year. Wallace, who was also an All-CACC selection, headlines the all-conference team and major award winners announced today by CACC Commissioner Dan Mara.
Wallace’s Wilmington teammate, freshman Sebastian Ramos, is the CACC Rookie of the Year. Ramos is also an All-CACC honoree. Wallace and Ramos earned the major awards, and the all-CACC team was named, following the final round of conference rankings produced by Clippd, the statistics and rankings provider of NCAA Golf.
Post University’s Michael Erickson was voted the 2025-26 Athletic Solutions CACC Men’s Golf Coach of the Year by his peers. Dominican University New York is the winner of this year’s Team Sportsmanship Award.
Wallace, from Elkton, Md., is the CACC Player of the Year for the second consecutive season, having won that honor and the Rookie of the Year Award in 2024-25. This season, he is the No. 1-ranked player in the NCAA Division II East Region with an adjusted scoring average of 72.9 over 28 rounds. He was the individual winner of the 2025 CACC Championship tournament in October, and has five top three finishes.
Ramos, of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, has an adjusted scoring average of 76.2 for 28 rounds and is the 14th-ranked player in the East Region. Ramos was named to the CACC All-Tournament Team. Led by Wallace and Ramos, Wilmington earned the CACC team championship will play as the No. 7 seed in the upcoming NCAA Division II Atlantic/East Regional Championship.
Erickson guided Post to a runner-up finish in the CACC championship tournament. The Eagles won the St. Thomas Aquinas Spartan Shootout and have six top three finishes as a team. On Sunday, Post was selected for an at-large berth to the NCAA Regional Championship as the No. 3 seed from the East Region.
Dominican was the coaches’ choice for the annual CACC Team Sportsmanship Award for demonstrating class and character throughout the season. The Chargers, who win the honor for the first time since 2019-20, are led by head coach Tim O’Brien.

Founded in 1961, the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference has been affiliated with NCAA Division II for 20 years. Conference institutions compete for championships in 17 sports – seven for men, nine for women, and one co-ed. The CACC contains 11 full members in Connecticut, Delaware, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. Membership includes the University of Bridgeport, Caldwell University, Chestnut Hill College, Dominican University New York, Felician University, Georgian Court University, Goldey-Beacom College, Holy Family University, Post University, Thomas Jefferson University, and Wilmington University.
