NEW HAVEN, Conn. (April 27, 2026) – Post University has been selected as an at-large representative from the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference to represent the East Region in the 2026 NCAA Division II Men’s Golf Championships. Post joins 2025-26 CACC champion Wilmington University among the seven teams from the East Region. The NCAA announced the field of 80 teams and 32 student-athletes competing as individuals on Sunday.
Post was chosen as the East’s No. 3 seed, while Wilmington, which qualified automatically via its CACC title, garnered the No. 7 seed. Each of the eight NCAA D-II regions also had four players chosen from teams which didn’t qualify, and two of the East’s individual selections came from the CACC – Felician University senior Pablo Hidalgo and Thomas Jefferson University junior Jaden Minter.
Regional play will be conducted May 7-9 at four sites. The seven East Region qualifiers will join 13 from the Atlantic Region, plus the eight individuals, at the Atlantic/East Regional, to be hosted by the University of Pittsburgh-Johnstown at Sunnehanna Country Club in Johnstown, Pa.
At a minimum, the top three teams from each regional, and the top two student-athletes not from a qualifying team, will advance to the finals. The 2026 NCAA Division II Men’s Golf finals will be hosted by The University of Nevada-Las Vegas and the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority at Boulder Creek Golf Club in Boulder City, Nev.
