NEW HAVEN, Conn. (April 28, 2026) – Home first-round victories by No. 3 seed Wilmington University and No. 4 seed Georgian Court University on Tuesday afternoon have set up a familiar semifinal round for the 2026 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Women’s Lacrosse Championship tournament. Wilmington and Georgian Court will be joined by Dominican University New York and Thomas Jefferson University in Thursday’s semifinals. It will be the fifth consecutive year that those four teams have comprised the CACC women’s lacrosse semis.

Georgian Court defeated No. 5 seed University of Bridgeport, 17-6, on Tuesday in Lakewood, N.J. Wilmington topped No. 6 seed Chestnut Hill College, 19-4, in Newark, Del. Top seed Dominican and No. 2 seed Jefferson earned first-round byes in the six-team, single-elimination event.
The Chargers and Rams will host semifinal contests on Thursday. Georgian Court will travel to Orangeburg, N.Y., to face Dominican at 3:30 p.m. At the same time, Jefferson will welcome Wilmington to its Philadelphia, Pa., campus. Thursday’s winners will meet on Saturday, May 2, at 2 p.m. in the championship final to be hosted by Wilmington. The winner of the 2026 CACC Women’s Lacrosse Championship will earn an automatic berth into the NCAA Division II East Region Championship tournament.
Tickets for all rounds of the 2026 CACC Women’s Lacrosse Championship are $10 for adults, and $5 for children, senior citizens (65+) and students with valid identification. No. 3 WILMINGTON 19, No. 6 CHESTNUT HILL 4
The Wildcats (16-2) led, 8-0, after one period, eventually scoring the game’s first 11 goals. Alea Javorowsky led a balanced Wilmington offense with seven points on two goals and five assists. Teammates Ella Royer (4g 2a) and Tristan Holdsworth (3g 3a) tallied six points each. Maddie Brazukas had four caused turnovers and three ground balls for the Griffins (8-7).
No. 4 GEORGIAN COURT 17, No. 5 BRIDGEPORT 6
The Lions (10-8) scored the game’s first five goals, and led, 8-3 at halftime before pulling away during the third period. GCU was led by four goals and seven draw controls from Nena Menard, while Gabrielle Battle led all players with six points (2g 4a). Natalie Moradian earned the victory in goal with 11 saves. Dani Strong led the Purple Knights (8-7) with three goals.
