NEW HAVEN, Conn. (May 1, 2026) – Four members of the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference are among the eight teams listed in the latest NCAA Division II East Region Baseball Ranking, the 2026 NCAA D-II Baseball Committee released on Wednesday.
CACC teams occupy positions 4-7 in the rankings. Wilmington University sits in the No. 4 spot, followed by, in order, Felician University, Thomas Jefferson University, and Goldey-Beacom College. The rankings for all eight NCAA Division II regions can be viewed at https://www.ncaa.com/rankings/baseball/d2/regional-rankings.
Wilmington (34-15), Felician (30-19), Jefferson (22-19), and Goldey-Beacom (29-20) are the four host schools for the first round of the CACC Championship tournament this weekend. Each is hosting a best-of-three series today and Saturday.
The NCAA will announce the 56-team field for the 2026 Division II Baseball Championship on Sunday, May 10, at 10 p.m. on ncaa.com. The East Region will receive automatic qualifiers from the CACC, East Coast Conference and Northeast 10 Conference and three at-large berths.

Founded in 1961, the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference has been affiliated with NCAA Division II for 20 years. Conference institutions compete for championships in 17 sports – seven for men, nine for women, and one co-ed. The CACC contains 11 full members in Connecticut, Delaware, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. Membership includes the University of Bridgeport, Caldwell University, Chestnut Hill College, Dominican University New York, Felician University, Georgian Court University, Goldey-Beacom College, Holy Family University, Post University, Thomas Jefferson University, and Wilmington University.
