NEW HAVEN, Conn. (July 23, 2026) – Five Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference track & field programs were recently honored as 2026 NCAA Division II All-Academic Teams by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross-Country Coaches Association. Additionally, two CACC student-athletes – Georgian Court University men’s thrower Malicah Etienne and University of Bridgeport women’s thrower Fiona Richards - were selected as 2026 Division II USTFCCCA Track & Field All-Academic Athletes.
Winners of USTFCCA All-Academic honors stood out in all areas of the student-athlete experience for the 2026 collegiate seasons. All Academic Teams must have a certified cumulative grade-point average for all athletes on the institutions indoor and/or outdoor squad list of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
All-Academic Individuals must hold a GPA of at least 3.25 and have finished among the top 50 individuals in an event or be a member of a top-35 relay team nationally in D-II. Women’s Individual: Fiona Richards, Bridgeport.
Founded in 1961, the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference has been affiliated with NCAA Division II for 21 years. Conference institutions compete for championships in 18 sports – seven for men, 10 for women, and one co-ed. The CACC contains 11 full members in Connecticut, Delaware, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. Membership includes the University of Bridgeport, Caldwell University, Chestnut Hill College, Dominican University New York, Felician University, Georgian Court University, Goldey-Beacom College, Holy Family University, Post University, Thomas Jefferson University, and Wilmington University.
