51 Qualify for 2026 CACC Baseball All-Academic Team

Eagles, Lightning and Wildcats Each Place Eight Players on List

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (June 24, 2026) – Fifty-one student-athletes have qualified for the 2026 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Baseball All-Academic Team, CACC Commissioner Dan Mara announced today.

To be eligible for CACC All-Academic status, a student-athlete must possess a minimum cumulative grade-point average of 3.50, be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, and be in his/her second year at his/her current institution. New for 2025-26, honorees must also either compete in at least two-thirds of their team’s games or start at least half. Pitchers must either appear in at least 10 games or pitch at least 30 innings.

Post University along with CACC champion Wilmington University and finalist Goldey-Beacom College each placed eight student-athletes on the list to share the conference lead. Thirteen of the honorees maintain an undergraduate GPA of 3.80 or higher. The complete set of winners can be viewed at the link above.

The CACC All-Academic Team was instituted during the 2004-05 academic year.

Founded in 1961, the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference has been affiliated with NCAA Division II for 20 years. Conference institutions compete for championships in 17 sports – seven for men, nine for women, and one co-ed. The CACC contains 11 full members in Connecticut, Delaware, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. Membership includes the University of Bridgeport, Caldwell University, Chestnut Hill College, Dominican University New York, Felician University, Georgian Court University, Goldey-Beacom College, Holy Family University, Post University, Thomas Jefferson University, and Wilmington University.
