PLAYER OF THE WEEK
PHIL GRANUM, Post (SO, Oslo, Norway) – Was -4 to par and had a 71.3 stroke averaged over six rounds. Earned medalist honors at the AIC Yellow Jacket Invitational, carding a six-under-par 210 for 54 holes to top a field of 52. His middle round of 66 included a hole-in-one. Finished third at the Charger Challenge with a +2 total of 218. The Eagles finished second as a team in both events.
Co-ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
ANDREW BRENDLINGER, Chestnut Hill (FR, Philadelphia, Pa.) – Averaged 75.0 for four rounds. Highlighted the week with a tie for fifth place at the Bloomsburg Collegiate Challenge, finishing two shots off the lead. In that event, he shot 73-74—147 (+3) and helped lead the Griffins to a tie for the team championship.
CO-ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
AXEL STRAND, Felician (FR, Norway) – Finished seventh, including third among CACC performers, at the Charger Challenge. Post rounds of 75, 77, and 71 for a 54-hole total of 223 (+7). Led the Golden Falcons to a third-place finish.
HONOR ROLL
HUGO ALMEIDA, Chestnut Hill – Averaged 72.3 for four rounds. Finished third at the Bloomsburg Challenge and eighth at the Vulcan Invite.
GAVIN GIROUX, Post – Posted a stroke average of 74.3 for six rounds. Finished among the top 10 in two events.
CONOR McKENNA, St. Thomas Aquinas – Tied for fifth place at the Charger Challenge with a 54-hole total of 220 (+4).
BRUNO PARDO, Dominican – Tied for 10th-place at the DUNY-hosted Charger Challenge with a 228 for 54 holes.
SEBASTIAN RAMOS, Wilmington – Averaged 71.6 for six rounds with a pair of top-10 finishes.
NOAH WALLACE, Wilmington – His six rounds for the week were all between 70 and 72. Finished fourth at the UC Invite and sixth at the Griffin Invite.
