CACC WOMEN’S VOLLEYBALL – October 13, 2025

Co-PLAYER OF THE WEEK

HAILEY JESSEN, Bridgeport (JR, OH, Highlands Ranch, Colo.) – Hit .467 with 24 kills and 18 digs during a four-set victory over Jefferson on Saturday. Posted a .295 attack percentage, 4.36 kills, 2.73 digs and 0.55 blocks per set during a 2-1 week for the Purple Knights.

Co-PLAYER OF THE WEEK

KRISTINA PERIC, Post (GR, OH, Belgrade, Serbia) – Averaged 5.00 kills, 3.09 digs and 0.64 blocks per set while hitting .218 as the Eagles went 2-1, winning both of their conference matches. Totaled 25 kills and 21 digs during a five-set loss at AIC on Oct. 9.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

AVA CHURNESKY, Holy Family (FR, OH, Canton, Mich.) – Hit .212 with 3.57 kills per set during a 1-1 week for the Lions. Received serve at a .977 rate (42 of 43). Had 13 kills and six digs during Saturday’s three-set loss to North first-place Post.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

ALYSSA GROVES, Post (SR, L, Phoenix, Ariz.) – Averaged 7.18 digs, 1.00 assists and 0.64 aces per set during a 2-1 week for the Eagles. Lifted a CACC season-high 42 digs during a five-set loss to American International on Oct. 9. Followed with 20 digs during Saturday’s three-set victory over Georgian Court.

Co-SETTER OF THE WEEK

CAMDYN CIESZKIEWICZ, Bridgeport (FR, S, Wilmington, Ill.) – Handed out 9.60 assists per set while also averaging 1.60 assists and 0.70 aces during a 2-1 week for the Purple Knights. Amassed a season-best 48 assists during Saturdays four-set victory over Jefferson.

Co-SETTER OF THE WEEK

MIA WISE, Holy Family (FR, S, Genoa, Ill.) – Collected 52 assists and a season-high three kills during the Tigers’ five-set victory over Caldwell on Friday. Averaged 9.93 assists, 1.21 digs, and 0.50 aces per set during a 2-1 week.

MEREDITH ADAMS, Jefferson – Averaged 10.00 assists and 2.63 digs per set during a pair of Ram matches.
ALICE DiFRANCESCO, Post – Guided the Eagles to a 2-1 week with 8.63 assists and 3.88 digs per set.
