CACC WOMEN’S VOLLEYBALL – October 6, 2025

PLAYER OF THE WEEK

KRISTINA PERIC, Post (GR, OH, Belgrade, Serbia) – Averaged 5.11 kills, 2.00 digs and 0.33 blocks per set during a 2-0 week for the Eagles. Hit .242 with 24 kills during a four-set victory over Bridgeport on Oct. 1. Came up with 22 kills and 10 digs as Post topped Goldey-Beacom in five sets three days later.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

MIA WISE, Holy Family (FR, S, Genoa, Ill.) – Produced 9.00 assists and 2.17 digs per set as the Tigers went 2-1. Collected 36 assists and 11 digs during an Oct. 2 win at Jefferson. Two days later, amassed 37 assists, seven digs and three blocks to help HFU top Felician.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

GABY FERNANDEZ, Goldey-Beacom (SO, L, Arecibo, Puerto Rico) – Pulled up a season-best 34 digs during a five-set loss to Post on Saturday. Averaged 6.38 digs and 0.50 assists per set during the Lightning’s 1-1 week.

SETTER OF THE WEEK

SOFIA RODRIGUEZ, Chestnut Hill (JR, S, Gurabo, Puerto Rico) – Recorded 39 assists and 16 digs during a five-set loss to Wilmington on Oct. 1. Followed with 43 assists during Saturday’s four-set win over Caldwell. Averaged 9.11 assists, 2.44 digs and 0.44 aces per set.

BROOKE BOWBLISS, Georgian Court – During three matches, averaged 2,56 kills, 2.89 assists, 2.00 digs and 0.89 blocks per set.
ADDISON HOOVER, Wilmington – Averaged 2.50 kills, 3.50 digs and 0.60 aces per set to help lead the Wildcats to a 2-0 week.
GIULIANA JAKU, Goldey-Beacom – Hit .351 with 3.25 kills, 2.63 digs, and 0.63 aces per set as the Lightning split a pair of matches.
HAILEY JESSEN, Bridgeport – Averaged 3.89 kills, 2.56 digs, and 0.67 aces per set during a 1-1 week for the Purple Knights.
SHELBY KINZER, Holy Family – Hit .204 with 3.25 kills per set during the Tigers’ 2-1 week.
