CACC WOMEN’S VOLLEYBALL – September 29, 2025

PLAYER OF THE WEEK

GABI FULLWOOD, Goldey-Beacom (SO, MH, Powder Springs, Ga.) – Produced a .456 attack percentage while averaging 3.22 kills and 1.11 blocks per set during a 3-0 week for the Lightning. During a four-set league victory over Jefferson on Sept. 23, hit .536 with 15 kills, no errors and six blocks (five solo).

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

MIA WISE, Holy Family (FR, S, Genoa, Ill.) – Averaged 9.36 assists, 2.00 digs and 0.55 aces per set during a 2-1 week for the Tigers. Totaled 48 assists and 12 digs during a five-set loss at Wilmington on Sept. 23.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

ALYSSA GROVES, Post (SR, L, Phoenix, Ariz.) – Amassed at least 26 digs in each match of the Eagles’ 1-2 week, including 28 during a four-set win over Franklin Pierce. Averaged 6.15 digs, 0.92 assists and 0.38 aces per set.

SETTER OF THE WEEK

JULIANA MALENA, Goldey-Beacom (SO, S, Miami, Fla.) – Collected a career-high 50 assists and 16 digs during the Lightning’s five-set victory over Kutztown on Saturday. Averaged 8.67 assists, 2.92 digs and 0.83 aces per set during a 3-0 week.

 

HONOR ROLL

KELCI GINGRAS, Goldey-Beacom – Averaged 2.71 kills and 3.08 digs per set during a 3-0 week for the Lightning.
HAILEY JESSEN, Bridgeport – Hit .341 with 3.89 kills per set during a pair of Purple Knight matches.
