WILMINGTON, Del. (October 6, 2025) – Post University continues to lead the team standings after Day 2 of the 2025-26 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Men’s Golf Championship tournament on Monday at White Clay Creek Country Club. The event is being hosted Sunday through Tuesday by Goldey-Beacom College.
Each of the seven competing teams start five players each round, with the top four scores counting toward the team score. Post extended its edge after round 1 from three strokes to four over Wilmington University with a second-round 318 after having shot 310 on Sunday. Wilmington followed its first-round 313 with Monday’s 319.
The Eagles are seeking their sixth CACC championship, but their first since 2009-10. Wilmington has won a conference-record 10 titles, the last in 2021-22.
The CACC Championship is a 54-hole tournament. The third and final round will begin at 8 a.m. on Tuesday. Live results and live video links can be found on the Championship Central web page. The team champion will receive the CACC’s automatic berth into the 2026 NCAA East/Atlantic Regional Championship next May.
Right behind Post (628) and Wilmington (632) on the team leaderboard is third-place Felician University (639). Thomas Jefferson University (644) moved up one slot from Sunday into fourth place, and is followed by Goldey-Beacom College (646), Dominican University New York (648), and Chestnut Hill College (671).
Founded in 1961, the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference has been affiliated with NCAA Division II for 20 years. Conference institutions compete for championships in 17 sports – seven for men, nine for women, and one co-ed. The CACC contains 11 full members in Connecticut, Delaware, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. Membership includes the University of Bridgeport, Caldwell University, Chestnut Hill College, Dominican University New York, Felician University, Georgian Court University, Goldey-Beacom College, Holy Family University, Post University, Thomas Jefferson University, and Wilmington University.
