Jefferson, Caldwell Well-Represented on United Soccer Coaches Women's All-Region Squads

Rams, Cougars Claim Four Honorees Apiece, Including Two Jefferson First-Teamers

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (December 10, 2025) – Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference members Thomas Jefferson University and Caldwell University were well-represented on the 2025 United Soccer Coaches Division II All-East Region Teams. The Rams and Cougars earned four representatives apiece, with Jefferson placing two players on the All-East Region First Team.

Jefferson seniors Nikki Dedes, the CACC Player of the Year, and Carly Yeager, the conference’s Defensive Player of the Year, were the First-Team choices. Both players were also elected to the Division 2 Conference Commissioners Association All-Region First Team last month.

Caldwell senior Taina Gervais joined Dedes and Yeager as consensus All-Region selections. Gervais was chosen for both the D2 CCA and United Soccer Coaches Second Team. Fellow Cougar senior Ariana Gaminara was a United Soccer Coaches Second Team honoree, as were Jefferson senior Gianna Garozzo and junior Kyra Lesko.

Two more Caldwell players, senior Rosio Cardenas and sophomore Ayla Fraser, were Third-Team All-Region choices.

The NCAA Division II East Region consists of the CACC, East Coast Conference and Northeast 10 conference and contains 31 institutions which compete in women’s soccer.

Founded in 1961, the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference has been affiliated with NCAA Division II for 20 years. Conference institutions compete for championships in 17 sports – seven for men, nine for women, and one co-ed. The CACC contains 11 full members in Connecticut, Delaware, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. Membership includes the University of Bridgeport, Caldwell University, Chestnut Hill College, Dominican University New York, Felician University, Georgian Court University, Goldey-Beacom College, Holy Family University, Post University, Thomas Jefferson University, and Wilmington University.
