NEW HAVEN, Conn. (December 5, 2025) – Caldwell University is in the lead after the fall season as the 11 full members of the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference pursue the league’s women’s Sportsmanship Award. The fall standings were released today by CACC Commissioner Dan Mara.
During the academic year, a postseason Team Sportsmanship Award is handed out for each of the CACC’s 17 championship sports. The year-end overall Sportsmanship Award is determined by the total number of points received in the voting for each individual sport, separated by gender, during the fall, winter, and spring seasons. The total is divided by the total number of men’s and women’s sports in which each school competes, and that average determines the standings.
Caldwell won the Team Sportsmanship Award in volleyball and collected an average of 21.67 points over three sports. Post University sits in second place with a 12.33 average over three sports, and Chestnut Hill College and Thomas Jefferson University are tied for third, both averaging 9.75 points across four sports.
Bloomfield College was the winner of the 2024-25 CACC Women’s Sportsmanship Award.
