NEW HAVEN, Conn. (December 5, 2025) – Post University graduate student Kristina Peric has been named the 2025 Division 2 Conference Commissioners Association East Region Women’s Volleyball Player of the Year, the CCA released earlier this week. Voting for the D2 CCA Regional Player of the Year and All-Region Teams was conducted by the region’s directors of athletics communications.
Peric headlines six Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference student-athletes who were voted onto the 2025 D2 CCA All-Region teams, including four First Team honorees. Joining Peric on the First Team were senior teammate Alyssa Groves as well as senior Ava Kidd and freshman Mia Wise from Holy Family University.
Peric is the national leader among Division II players in both kills per set (5.29) and points per set (5.83). She also averages 2.76 digs per set with a .230 attack percentage. Earlier this month, the Belgrade, Serbia, native was selected as the CACC Player of the Year. Peric has helped Post to the CACC North Division regular season title and the program’s first NCAA Tournament victory.
CACC representatives on the All-East Region Second Team were Goldey-Beacom College freshman Gabi Fullwood and University of Bridgeport junior Hailey Jessen. The CACC garnered the most all-region honorees of the three conferences comprising the East Region.
By gaining First Team accolades, Groves, Kidd, Peric, and Wise are now eligible for the All-America ballot. The 2025 D2 CAA All-America women’s volleyball teams will be announced on December 10.
