PHILADELPHIA (March 20, 2025) -- Holy Family University's
Taylor Hinkle has become the third Tiger to be recognized as All-America Honorable Mention by the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA). She was the only Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference player so honored this season.
Holy Family's previous WBCA All-Americans were Catherine Carr (2009-10 Honorable Mention and 2010-11) and Erin Mann (2012-13 Honorable Mention). .
Hinkle, a repeat All-CACC First Team selection and D2CCA All East-Region Second Team honoree, led Holy Family to one of its best seasons in recent memory.
HFU won its first CACC Championship since 2015 to qualify for its first NCAA Tournament since 2016. The Tigers would win two NCAA Tournament games to advance to their first East Regional Final since 2012.
Holy Family finished its season 26-7 for its most wins since 2012-13.
Hinikle led the East Region with 331 total rebounds and 16 double-double, which currently ranks 11th and 14th in Division II, respectively. She is second in the region with 10.3 rebounds per game and third with 7.2 defensive rebounds per game, both of which are 23rd in Division II.
The junior now ranks second in the program's single-season history in total rebounds and defensive rebounds (229), third in rebounding average and offensive rebounds (102), and fourth in defensive rebounds per game and offensive rebounds per game (3.2).
Hinkle also led the Tigers with 12.6 points per game and a .805 free throw percentage, was second with 29.4 minutes per game, and third with 1.2 steals per game.
