Co-PLAYER OF THE WEEK
TARA DIMAIO, Bridgeport – Junior midfielder put forth a strong two-way effort during the Purple Knights’ 2-1 week. Piled up totals of 17 points, 12 draw controls, eight ground balls, and eight caused turnovers. Had eight goals and an assist and won six draws during a 19-11 road win over American International on Mar. 31. Contributed six goals, an assist, seven draws, five grounders, and five caused turnovers to Friday’s 20-11 league win over Chestnut Hill.
Co-PLAYER OF THE WEEK
MADELYN GRELLA, Dominican – Junior attack helped lift the No. 25 Chargers to a pair of league victories with 20 total points. Tallied five goals and eight assists during a 21-0 win at Felician on Apr. 1. Followed with three goals and four assists as DUNY topped Jefferson, 14-8, on Saturday.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
NENA MENARD, Georgian Court – Freshman midfielder won 11 draws, and added four points and four ground balls, during the Lions’ 22-0 home win over Post on Saturday. Had scored three goals with six draw controls during a loss to Jefferson four days earlier.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
ELLA ROYER, Wilmington – Junior midfielder helped the Wildcats to a 3-0 week by totaling 21 draw controls, 10 ground balls, and six caused turnovers. Highlighted the week with five ground balls, six draws, four caused turnovers – and eight goals – during a 24-3 home victory over Chestnut Hill on Apr. 1.
GOALKEEPER OF THE WEEK
KRISTINAMARIE KASZOVITZ, Dominican – Graduate student went 2-0 with a 5.65 goals-against average and a .529 save percentage in two starts. In 85 minutes made nine saves and allowed eight goals for the No. 25 Chargers.
HONOR ROLL
ABBY GALAZKA, Chestnut Hill – Scored the first goals of her four-year career, finding the cage four times despite the Griffins’ 0-2 week. Added five draw controls and five ground balls.
CADENCE GENTILE, Georgian Court – Went 1-0 in two appearances in goal. Had a .524 save percentage and an 8.00 GAA in 75 minutes.
ALEA JAVOROWSKY, Wilmington – Combined for eight goals, 13 assists and five ground balls during a 3-0 week for the Wildcats.
ISABEL RAIMONDI, Georgian Court – Produced four goals and 12 assists during the Lions’ 1-1 week.
REAGAN ROGERS, Jefferson – Totaled six goals and one assist during a 1-1 week for the Rams.
RIANNA SHIELDS, Holy Family – Scored nine points and added four ground balls and three caused turnovers during a victory over Felician.
