CACC Releases 2025 Women's Track & Field All-Academic Team; 51 Honored

All 10 Sponsoring Conference Schools Represented

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (June 12, 2025) – Fifty-one student-athletes have qualified for the 2025 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Women’s Outdoor Track & Field All-Academic Team, CACC Commissioner Dan Mara announced today. The players recognized represent all 10 conference schools that sponsor the sport.

To be eligible for CACC All-Academic status, a student-athlete must possess a minimum cumulative grade-point average of 3.50 at the end of the immediately preceding term, must be enrolled for at least two full-time semesters at his/her current institution, and must be a second-year student-athlete at his/her current institution. The CACC All-Academic Team was instituted during the 2004-05 academic year.

CACC champion Felician University saw 11 athletes honored, the most in the league. Holy Family University had 10 individuals named.

Among the honorees were six student-athletes with perfect 4.00 GPAs – Samantha Lonseth and Brenna Sullivan of Georgian Court University, Thomas Jefferson University’s Sydney Huynh and Audrey Pham, and Amy Chomo and Angie Chomo of Wilmington University. They were part of a group of 14 athletes on the list with GPAs of 3.90 or higher.

The Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference is celebrating the 20th anniversary of its affiliation with NCAA Division II. Conference institutions compete for championships in 18 sports – eight for men, nine for women, and one co-ed. The CACC contains 12 members in Connecticut, Delaware, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. Membership includes Bloomfield College of Montclair State University, the University of Bridgeport, Caldwell University, Chestnut Hill College, Dominican University New York, Felician University, Georgian Court University, Goldey-Beacom College, Holy Family University, Post University, Thomas Jefferson University, and Wilmington University.
