CACC Esports Fall 2026 Week 3 Recap

Unbeatens Win Again, Setting Up Week 4 Marvel Rivals Showdown

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (October 11, 2026) – The Fall 2026 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference esports regular season has reached the halfway point and the races for first place and playoff position are taking shape.

Bloomfield College maintained its hold on first place in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. And while the Bears again earned a 2-0 sweep, this time over Goldey-Beacom College, the Lightning tested the conference frontrunner with both games ending in 9-7 scores. Bloomfield improved its record to 3-0, with Post University one match off the pace at 2-1 following last week’s 2-0 victory over Caldwell University.

The top two teams in Marvel Rivals were again victorious in Week 3, as Holy Family University and Caldwell University earned 3-0 sweeps to remain tied for first place with 3-0 records. Goldey-Beacom improved its positioning with a victory of its own and sits in third place at 2-1.

Bloomfield has its bye week in Smash Bros. in Week 4, allowing the other four schools an opportunity to make a push for the playoffs. Meanwhile, Caldwell and Holy Family will meet in Marvels Rivals, with the winner moving one step closer to an undefeated regular season.

The top four teams in each game title will qualify for the playoffs. View the results/schedule and standings at the links above.
