Three from CACC Under Consideration for NCAA Men's Golf

First Set of 2025-26 Regional Rankings Released

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (March 16, 2026) – Three Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference teams – Felician University, Post University, and Wilmington University – are under consideration for the 2026 NCAA Division II Men’s Golf Championship tournament, the NCAA D-II Men’s Golf Committee announced last Friday.

The committee released the first set of regional rankings for all eight NCAA Division II regions on Friday. Teams under consideration in each region were announced in alphabetical order. Eight teams were listed as under consideration in the East Region for the seven available berths.

Wilmington won the 2025-26 CACC title at the conference championship meet in October. With that crown, the Wildcats earned an automatic qualifier into the NCAA Championship.

The NCAA will announce the field for the 2026 Division II Men’s Golf Championship on April 26. The Atlantic/East Regional Championship will be hosted by the University of Pittsburgh-Johnstown on May 7-9 at Sunnehanna Country Club in Johnstown, Pa.

Founded in 1961, the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference has been affiliated with NCAA Division II for 20 years. Conference institutions compete for championships in 17 sports – seven for men, nine for women, and one co-ed. The CACC contains 11 full members in Connecticut, Delaware, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. Membership includes the University of Bridgeport, Caldwell University, Chestnut Hill College, Dominican University New York, Felician University, Georgian Court University, Goldey-Beacom College, Holy Family University, Post University, Thomas Jefferson University, and Wilmington University.
