Fall Champions Bloomfield, Goldey-Beacom Again Top Seeds

CACC ESPORTS SPRING 2026 STANDINGS | CACC ESPORTS SPRING 2026 SCHEDULE

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (March 19, 2026) – Regular-season competition in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Spring 2026 Esports has concluded. The CACC has announced the playoff matchups for both game titles, which are also available on the CACC Championship Central page.

Bloomfield College completed a fourth consecutive unbeaten regular season in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. The CACC’s Smash champion in all three conference seasons so far (Fall 2024, Spring 2025, Fall 2025), Bloomfield will be the top seed for next week’s conference tournament. Goldey-Beacom College won its regular-season finale to gain sole possession of second place and the No. 2 seed.

Goldey-Beacom will also look to repeat as champion in Marvel Rivals after winning the crown in that game during the fall semester. The Lightning went 4-0 in spring regular season play and are the No. 1 seed for the playoffs. No. 2 seed Holy Family University, whose only spring loss was to GBC, will be among those challenging.

Founded in 1961, the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference has been affiliated with NCAA Division II for 20 years. Conference institutions compete for championships in 17 sports – seven for men, nine for women, and one co-ed.
