CACC SOFTBALL – March 30, 2026

PLAYER OF THE WEEK

SYDNEE PERREAULT, Bridgeport (JR, OF, Warwick, R.I.) – Batted .571 with eight runs scored, seven RBI, and five stolen bases during a 4-2 week for the Purple Knights. Had three doubles, two triples, and a home run to slug 1.048. Produced four multi-hit games. Was 4 for 4 with a triple, homer, and four runs during an 11-7 Game 1 win at Molloy on Mar. 26. Went 5 for 8 during Saturday’s sweep of Goldey-Beacom.

PITCHER OF THE WEEK

OLIVIA HITCHENS, Wilmington (SO, R, Dagsboro, Del.) Went 3-0 with a 1.87 ERA in three starts. In 18 2/3 innings, gave up 18 hits, struck out 17 batters, and walked two. Tossed a six-inning, three-hit shutout with eight strikeouts in a 10-0 Game 2 victory at Dominican on Saturday. Had a complete-game victory over Adelphi and also defeated Molloy.

Co-ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

GENNA D’AMATO, Bridgeport (FR, IF, Warwick, R.I.) – Went 9 for 18 with a double and six RBI to help the Purple Knights to a 4-2 week. Hit in every game, including three multi-hit efforts.

Co-ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

ADDISON SABO, Wilmington (FR, OF, Bethlehem, Pa.) – Batted .450 with two doubles, six runs scored and four RBI during a 5-1 week for the Wildcats. Turned in three multi-hit games, including a 3 for 4 performance during Saturday’s Game 2 victory over Dominican.

 

HONOR ROLL

HALEIGH FISHER, Caldwell – Went 2-0 with a 1.75 ERA in two appearances in the pitching circle.
MADISON GRUBB, Holy Family – Was 5 for 10 with four XBH during a 2-2 week for the Tigers.
SYDNEY JONES, Post – Hit .385 with three home runs and six runs scored during a 2-4 week for the Eagles.
EMILY KURTH, Caldwell – Hit .462 with a homer and eight RBI during a 5-1 week for the Cougars.
SAMANTHA LEDGER, Bridgeport – Went 2-0 with a 2.52 ERA and a .206 opponent BA in three pitching starts.
KATELYN LIPSKY, Post – Earned two complete-game pitching wins, allowing four runs on 12 hits over 14 innings.
KELSEY VITALIS, Felician – During a doubleheader sweep of Holy Family, went 3 for 6 with two doubles and earned a complete-game pitching victory.
MADDIE VOLLMAR, Wilmington – Hit .421 with five XBH during a 5-1 week for the Wildcats and pitched a seven-inning one-hitter in a win over Molloy.
