NEW HAVEN, Conn. (May 25, 2025) – Six Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference men’s lacrosse players, including five from Wilmington University, have been named to the 2025 United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association Division II All-American Teams, the USILA announced last Thursday.
Wilmington junior Tyler Quinn headlined the CACC honorees with a Third Team All-American selection at short-stick defensive midfielder. Quinn picked up 78 ground balls in 16 games. His 4.88 ground balls per game were sixth in the CACC. He also added seven assists for the Wildcats (11-5), the CACC regular-season champion and an NCAA Tournament at-large qualifier.
Four other Wilmington players – graduate defenseman Paul Army, junior attackman Andrew Dzubak, sophomore midfielder Carter Earl, and junior faceoff man Connor Widmer – were chosen as Honorable Mention All-Americans. Additionally, Chestnut Hill College graduate midfielder Mick Kilgallon is an Honorable Mention All-America honoree.
Players selected for USILA All-American were nominated by their coach and then received votes from the All-American Committee.
The Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference is celebrating the 20th anniversary of its affiliation with NCAA Division II. Conference institutions compete for championships in 18 sports – eight for men, nine for women, and one co-ed. The CACC contains 12 members in Connecticut, Delaware, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. Membership includes Bloomfield College of Montclair State University, the University of Bridgeport, Caldwell University, Chestnut Hill College, Dominican University New York, Felician University, Georgian Court University, Goldey-Beacom College, Holy Family University, Post University, Thomas Jefferson University, and Wilmington University.
