Top-Two Seeds Victorious in Rocket League Semifinals

 
NEW HAVEN, Conn. (November 13, 2024) -- The top-two seeds, Post University and Caldwell University, were victorious on Tuesday night during the semifinals of the 2024 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) E Sports Rocket League Championship, held virtually with each team competing on their respective campus. 

The Eagles and Cougars will now meet in next Tuesday night's CACC Rocket League Championship Final at 9 p.m., hosted by Discord. Next Tuesday's Rocket League Final will be the inaugural CACC Championship in E Sports. Post downed fourth-seeded Dominican University, 4-0, while the second-seeded Cougars pulled off a 4-2 win in their match versus third-seeded Wilmington University.

The Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference is celebrating the 20th anniversary of its affiliation with NCAA Division II. Conference institutions compete for championships in 18 sports – eight for men, nine for women, and one co-ed. The CACC contains 12 members in Connecticut, Delaware, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. Membership includes Bloomfield College of Montclair State University, the University of Bridgeport, Caldwell University, Chestnut Hill College, Dominican University New York, Felician University, Georgian Court University, Goldey-Beacom College, Holy Family University, Post University, Thomas Jefferson University, and Wilmington University.
