NEW HAVEN, Conn. (February 15, 2026) – Week 2 of the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference’s Spring 2026 esports season saw both fall champions and one challenger jump out to early leads in the standings.
The rest of the conference has yet to figure out a way to topple Bloomfield College in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. The Bears have captured all three CACC championships in the game title and have not lost a regular-season or playoff match. That streak continued last week with a 2-0 victory over Goldey-Beacom College. Post University knocked off Dominican University New York, 2-0, in the week’s other match.
In Marvel Rivals, Holy Family University joined Fall 2025 champion Goldey-Beacom College atop the five-team table. Holy Family got past Post and Goldey-Beacom defeated Wilmington University, each by identical 3-0 scores. HFU has a bye next week before taking on the Lightning during Week 4.
The four Smash Ultimate entrants will complete the first-circuit of their six-match double round-robin regular-season during the week head. In Marvel Rivals, each of the five schools will compete against the other once, plus a bye week and a potential tiebreaker week. The postseason is set for late March/early April.
